We have found and housed multiple colonies of native bees on Fat Beet land. In our Honeybee Sanctuary(Apiary), we provide the bees with a happy home where they can thrive. In return, they pollinate our crops and increase our yields, provide us with deeply flavorful and complex honey that we can eat and drink in many ways, and give us beeswax that can be used for a multitude of natural products for the home.

In recent years, there has been a global decline in the number of pollinators due to various diseases. These pollinators are vital to our global food production; without them, our crops would not produce. At Fat Beet Farm, we want to make sure that we are doing our part to solve this problem. Bees are some of the most common and available critters for pollinating our crops, and we need to support them as much as possible in order to keep our farm sustainable and productive.
